Georgina Cook

Education Specialist, Renaissance Learning
Georgina has dedicated her career to helping young people develop the literacy skills they need to succeed. She spent 20 years as a secondary English teacher in the UK and went on to become a Leader of English and Literacy, leading English across an all-through school trust in the east of England. She has also worked with the National Literacy Trust and Whole Education to support schools in building positive reading cultures. Georgina joined GL Education, now Renaissance, in 2021. Having previously used the company's assessments as a school leader, she now works as an Education Specialist, supporting schools and trusts to make the most of assessment data and insights. She champions Renaissance's language and literacy assessments and collaborates with teams across the business to ensure schools have effective tools to support literacy development and help every young person reach their full potential.
