Autism Education Trust

Autism Education Trust (AET) The AET was formed as a partnership in 2007 to help improve the quality of education for autistic children and young people. We are a not-for-profit organisation, founded by two national autism charities – the National Autistic Society and Ambitious about Autism and supported by the Department for Education. Our work centres around upskilling the education workforce, supporting system leaders and promoting good autism practice standards across education settings, through the provision of professional development training programmes and resources for early years, schools and post-16 settings.
