Siân Owen is Director of Policy and Stakeholder Engagement at Pearson UK, specialising in vocational and technical qualifications and their role within the wider education and skills system. She has over 25 years’ experience across qualification development, education consultancy and policy engagement, working with governments, regulators and education and skills stakeholders in the UK and internationally. Her current work focuses on post-16 reform, progression pathways and how qualifications and skills systems can respond to changing labour-market needs while maintaining quality and supporting opportunities for further learning and work.
