Claire Maclean has been Chief Executive Officer of Tudor Grange Academies Trust (TGAT) since 2014, overseeing significant growth from three schools to 13 and establishing a values-led organisation committed to collaboration, continuous improvement and educational excellence. A strong advocate of system leadership, Claire is passionate about ensuring every child has access to an exceptional education. She has championed school-to-school collaboration, evidence-informed practice and professional networks that help schools learn from one another and improve outcomes, particularly for disadvantaged pupils. Under her leadership, TGAT has developed a scalable operating model that enables leaders to focus on teaching, learning and student success. She has also strengthened strategic partnerships and contract management arrangements, ensuring access to specialist expertise while maintaining quality, efficiency and resilience.
