Phil Beecher is CFO at Active Learning Trust. During his eight years in the education sector, he has worked as CFO and COO, lead complex transformation projects, played a leading role in the merger of two large trusts and currently chairs the audit and risk committee for two other large trusts. Prior to working in education, Phil was the Financial Controller for a NHS Trust, following five years at Pricewaterhouse Coopers, where he qualified as a chartered accountant. Phil completed his MBA via the apprenticeship levy in 2024 and holds qualifications in project management and health and safety.
