Jenny Thompson is a School Trust Leader at Dixons Academies Trust, working directly with schools and on trust and sector-wide development. Jenny travelled and worked overseas before becoming an English teacher, SENCo and school leader; and she was principal of Dixons Trinity Academy in Bradford. During her first maternity leave, Jenny was appointed behaviour advisor for the Department for Education and completed post graduate studies in the application of AI in education. Jenny was a member of the design group for the independent review of children’s social care and the government’s cultural education plan panel; and Jenny was part of CST’s trust-led school improvement inquiry. Jenny has co-authored a chapter in ResearchEd’s guide to leadership and recently written a chapter for the guide to professional development.
