Dr Lizzie Oliver

Director of Policy and Programmes, Trust Governance Professionals
Lizzie joined Trust Governance Professionals in January 2024, delivering training and bespoke support for governance professionals working in school trusts. She was previously Director of Governance and Compliance for a multi-academy trust and has provided extensive governance advisory support to schools across the maintained sector. A former NLG and graduate of the Chartered Governance Qualifying Programme, Lizzie is a trustee of a primary trust, and a member of the Trailblazer Group for the Level 4 Governance Officer apprenticeship.
Prior to working in governance, Lizzie spent 15 years working within education and skills consultancy, alongside doctoral research based at the Imperial War Museum
