Professor Daniel’s research focuses on educational effectiveness in primary and secondary (post-primary) schools. This includes research at the classroom level on effective teaching and pedagogy and metacognition, research at the school level on educational leadership and school culture, and research on collaboration between schools and place-based approaches.
