Making the hidden connections: Saving money, reducing risk, and improving understanding of your estate

You can’t control external shocks to energy prices, but you can control the assumptions on which decisions about your trust estates are made. This workshop aims to help trust leaders unpack common assumptions and identify information gaps that can hold significant risk for your operating costs. Drawing on case studies it will give you fresh, practical ideas to strengthen and support your trusts’ decision-making. Areas we will cover include due diligence during mergers, decarbonising estates, new builds, how small operational changes can have a real impact, the costs and benefits of lettings, and other estate decisions that can affect long-term cost, efficiency, and risk within your energy contracts.
