Conference app guide

Learn more about making the best use of our Annual Conference app.

From the homepage you can access every section of the app. After opening any section, there is a back arrow located in the top left-hand corner to take you back to the previous page.

We recommend visiting the profile and settings section as soon as you are logged in. From here you can:

  • change your virtual name badge (this controls how you appear to other attendees in the app);
  • select which information you would like to share make a connection;
  • add your biography and social media profiles; and
  • control your notification settings. 

In this section you can upload your photo so that it is visible to other delegates within the app. You can also view the workshops you have booked onto.

This section allows you to register for all four workshop sessions during the conference. We recommend booking early as there are limited places for each workshop. Don’t forget to favourite your selected workshops on the conference agenda.

Within this section you will find your unique QR code which can be scanned upon arrival to the event to collect your badge.

If you have booked a place on the annual dinner, you can use this section to pick your table.

  • Please click on the name of the dinner and you will see the dinner overview. You will also see the option to assign yourself to a table, search for attendees and see where they are seated.
  • To book your seat please click where it states, ‘No table assigned – select table’. This will then show you the tables available and seats left. Once selected please click the ‘join table’ button and confirm.
  • Once selected you have the option to change your table selection, remove your selection, view who is on your table and invite other attendees to you join you.

The agenda shows all sessions taking place through the conference. If you click into a session, you can:

  • view session information including location, session description and speaker details;
  • make notes for that session
  • add it to ‘my agenda’, your personalised programme;
  • send in questions to the presenters if they are enabled for that session; and
  • participate in live polls during the event.

Any items you have favourited from the main agenda will appear in here as your tailored event agenda, allowing you to create your own personalised programme. Please ensure you favourite any workshops you have booked onto. You can favourite workshops by clicking on the star next to the session.

Within this section you will find the CST Annual Conference 2024 floorplan showing all of the keynote, workshop and meeting rooms to help you find your way around the ICC. You can zoom into the floorplan by double clicking on the image.

In this section you can search for speakers, view their profile, and also see the specific sessions they are speaking in.

To view their biography, click on the right-hand arrow above their picture, then click on the info tile and then ‘about’.

Learn more about our Annual Conference sponsors, whose generous support helps make the event possible.

From here you can explore our conference exhibitors and partners, through virtual stands and dedicated content. You can:

  • view company profiles;
  • view brochures, videos and web links; and
  • connect and chat with the exhibitors.

Visit this section to see the exhibitor floorplan to help you locate the exhibition stands. You can zoom into the floorplan by double clicking on the image.

The meeting hub is a location where you can virtually connect and interact with fellow delegates.

Within the meeting hub you can:

  • Search for an attendee, subject to their app privacy settings.
  • Send an attendee a message.
  • Make connections with delegates. By doing this you have the option to share contact information and call each other. You can send a connection request by clicking the green ‘plus’ logo on their profile.
  • Scan fellow delegates’ QR codes. This is a quick way to share contact information if you meet in person.
  • View your connections and connection requests. If you receive a request to chat or connect it will appear at the bottom of the app screen.

All approved connections can be exported at the end of the event by clicking the export tab.

This is a quick access location for all event resources including the event floor plan.

This section is for you to make any notes you find useful during the conference – topics that sparked your interest in our workshops or keynotes, exhibitors you want to follow up on, or interesting people you’ve met. The notes can be exported at anytime.

Alerts will pop up whilst the app is open. You can also view all historic and current alerts in this section at anytime.
